Mouthpiece is an attribute I aspire to master.

As a kid, I talked a lot of shit, and my mouth got me into plenty of fights. Constantly kicked out of class for chatting and distracting other kids. I had my fair share of trips to the principal's office, detention, suspension, and in-school suspension.

Then one day in middle school, it went quiet with nothing to
say.

I was wearing a brand-new Sean John polo my mom bought me
for second semester. Walking out of the lunchroom, a kid shouted, "You look like a big orange basketball." The whole room heard it and laughed.

Overwhelmed, I stormed out, trying to hide the tears. I was a chubby kid shopping in the husky section and wearing clothes sized for adults. That insecurity left me on the sidelines for years.

That character-building moment from my childhood is the fuel for Mouthpiece as a company.
